When your application requires little to no tolerance for errors, the 1Gb DDR3 DRAM from ISSI has the error-free functionality you need. Embedded Error Correcting Code (ECC) detects and corrects bit errors on the fly without any additional I/O or required algorithms, and it’s backward compatible with the standard DDR3, so engineers can use this DRAM like any other—only with increased confidence.
The DDR3 with ECC is a great fit for safety related applications in demanding fields like health care and automotive. It comes in a 96-ball BGA and a 78-ball BGA, each operates at 1.5V with one of three available auto temperature grade options: A1 operates from -40C to 95C, A2 from -40C to 105C, and A3 from -40C to 125C.
