アプリケーションでエラーに対する許容度がほとんどまたはまったくない場合、ISSIの1Gb DDR3 DRAMは必要なエラーのない機能を備えています。組み込みエラー訂正コード (ECC) は、追加のI/Oや必要なアルゴリズムなしでビット エラーをオンザフライで検出して訂正します。また、標準DDR3との下位互換性があるため、エンジニアは他のDRAMと同様に、より高い信頼性でこのDRAMを使用できます。
ECC付きDDR3は、医療や自動車などの要求の厳しい分野の安全関連アプリケーションに最適です。96ボールBGAと78ボールBGAで提供され、それぞれ1.5Vで動作し、3つの自動温度グレード オプションのいずれかを選択できます。A1は -40℃ ～ 95℃、A2は -40℃ ～ 105℃、A3は -40℃ ～ 125℃ で動作します。
