Electrical isolation can mean everything when you’re designing to comply with safety regulations, solve interference issues, and protect against failure. The NXJ2 series offers 2W, surface mount, single output, unregulated converters with 5.2kVdc isolation.

With measurements at 15.9 x 11.43 x 4.42mm footprint for the 12V and 15V version and 16.0 x 14.48 x 4.41mm footprint for the 24V version, the NXJ2 series also offers a first-of-its-kind patented process that puts the transformer into the layers of the device substrate, using FR-4 glass epoxy with alternating layers of copper that create the windings around the embedded core. This technology reduces device profile and dissipates heat through the PCB for a more consistent electrical performance from the magnetic component. The NXJ2 series also meets agency and industry approvals.
