The iCOMOX Intelligent Condition Monitoring Box is an innovative, multi-function, cloud-enabled tool for use in modern predictive maintenance programs.
iCOMOX is the result of a collaborative effort between Analog Devices, Shiratech, and Arrow. It allows users to track vibration, magnetic fields, temperature, and sound on the production floor. This data can then be analyzed to help detect and prevent any issues which may cause costly downtime if left unattended. The iCOMOX kit is available with three types of connectivity:
● SmartMesh IP: Ideal for use in crowded indoor environments where there might be multiple sources of radio interference. SMIP features low-bandwidth nodes that provide redundant paths, precise synchronization, and extraordinary reliability of up to 99.999%.
● Narrow Bandwidth-IoT: Developed for use in applications which might be split between indoor and outdoor use. This mode of communication piggybacks on the LTE cellular network, for ultimate performance over long distances with no SIM card required.
● Power over Ethernet: For a hardwired connection to an industrial network that provides both power and connectivity. This version is ideally suited for high-bandwidth applications.
