Description
- Single Supply Powers a 28V, High Voltage Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) Synthesizer. High performance PLL Synthesizer circuit requires 28V for the tuning voltage of an octave range (1 GHz to 2 GHz) voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). An efficient boost converter provides this voltage and the circuit operates on a single 5V supply with no measurable degradation on the phase noise due to the DC to DC boost converter
