The OPTIGA™ Trust X offers various security features for IoT applications, including one-way and mutual authentication, secured communications, IP protection, secured firmware updates, platform integrity, and brand protection. OPTIGA™ Trust X uses ECC asymmetric cryptography, which consists of a unique private key and a corresponding public key placed in a certificate.
Certificates granting access to the services are generated during a personalization process known as provisioning, and are stored in OPTIGA™ Trust X. But navigating the provisioning process can be challenging for IoT device manufacturers alone.
