Hongfa is the leader in the strongly developing market of electro-mechanical relays. After its founding in 1984 in Xiamen/China and the initial activities in the field of electro-acoustic equipment, Hongfa very soon focused on the design, production and sale of relays; in the home market at the beginning, but soon exploring the world.
Today Hongfa produces more than a billion relays a year; their production premises of 1 million m² are designed to continue the successful growth path. More than 80% of their production lines are fully automated, being designed and built in-house.
Having achieved leading market position in the field of Power (General Purpose) and Latching (power bistable) relays, Automotive, Industrial and Signal relays are of increasing importance. The portfolio of state-of-the-art HVDC products for e-mobility and energy management systems prove their technical capability; also they run a VDE recognized test lab.
Hongfa, the true relay specialist, is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2012.
In 2003 Hongfa Europe has been founded, today this European Headquarter in Maintal/Germany hosts the Central warehouse as well as the Application Engineering and Customer Service teams; local Sales Offices throughout Europe and a network of educated Distribution partners enable a close market presence.
