Arrow is adding a new selection of embedded memory options from Kingston Technology, the largest independent manufacturer of memory products. The eMMC and DDR3/3L lines offer flash memory and DRAM capabilities with low power consumption and compact packages to fit in almost any system.
The eMMC series are JEDEC eMMC 5.1-compliant flash memory options that have integrated wear-leveling, EEC, read sensing and IOPS optimization to alleviate storage strain on the host CPU. The series sports an ultra-compact 11.5 x 13.0 mm package, which makes it incredibly versatile and capable of fitting in both Computer on Module (CoM) designs, as well as end user products like smart phones or wearables. The series offers 4, 8, 16 and 32 GB storage capacities to best suit your design.

The DDR3/3L series are designed to fit into most any system that needs DRAM capability. With a solid 4 GB of storage, the series offers two choices for interfacing into your PCB: a 96-ball or a 78-ball pin connector system. For high-speed data processing, the DDR3/3Ls have a double-data-rate architecture that allows for two data transfers per clocking cycle. Each member of the DDR3/3L family is very space-efficient, with a 9.0 x 13.5 mm footprint for the 96-ball chip and a 9.0 x 10.6 mm footprint for the 78-ball chip. It includes on-die termination for improved signal quality and several other read/write controls to aid in data storage operations.
The eMMC and DDR3/3L series of embedded memory chips are ideal for small products that require powerful memory abilities with low power consumption, and will be a solid addition to your solution.
