Features of the Type 1 GC Wi-Fi Module

The Type 1 GC Wi-Fi Module will provide you with industry-leading connectivity to 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi/Ethernet, meaning the long distance, but slower speed of 2.4 GHz and the shorter distance, but faster speed of 5 GHz. The Module has a single RF output pin and supports WPA, WPA2, and WPS security. This gives you the latest generation of features to accommodate a wide range of IoT applications.

It includes the 32-bit ARM Cortex-R4 application processor, built for excellent energy efficiency, high-performance, reliability, and dependability for real-time applications. It has over 1.2 MB RAM for application uses and 32 kB of instruction & data caches. It’s powerful CPU speed can reach up to 320 MHz, has 28 I/Os, and ensures end-to-end security.
