STSPIN32F0x Family – Integrated MCU and Gate Drivers

The STSPIN32F0 is a System-In-Package providing an integrated solution suitable for driving three-phase BLDC motors using different driving modes. It embeds a triple half-bridge gate driver able to drive power MOSFETs or IGBTs with a current capability up to 1A depending on the version. The high- and low-side switches of the same half-bridge cannot be simultaneously driven high thanks to an integrated interlocking function.

All the integrated features of STSPIN32F0x family make design of the application PCB easier, and result in reduced PCB area consumption, bill of material and overall application cost.


INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL AND ANALOG POWER

It embeds an MCU (STM32F031x6x7) featuring an ARM® 32-bit Cortex®-M0 CPU and a 45V, 250V or 600V triple half bridge gate driver, able to drive N-channel power MOSFETs or IGBTs.


SCALABLE OFFER

STSPIN32F0 is offered in 3 different voltages and several current capability options. The low voltage drivers can go up to 45V, the STSPIN32F025x drivers have the voltage range up to 250V and the 600V is maximum voltage for the STSPIN32F060x drivers.

Key Features Specific for Low Voltage Options

The integrated operational amplifiers are available for the signal conditioning of the analog Hall-effect sensors and the shunt resistor signal. A comparator with a programmable threshold is integrated to perform the overcurrent protection.
